Jesus’s Parable of the Good Samaritan is recorded in Luke 10. The board game below was inspired by a similar idea I found online here – however I developed my own version from scratch using artwork by Richard Gunther (www.lambsongs.co.nz) which I downloaded from freebibleimages.org.
And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.
– Jonah 2:10
For this craft, each kid gets a paper cup with the bottom cut out of it. Cut a balloon and stretch it over the base and sellotape it on. The kids can colour in the template below which can be wrapped around the cup and stuck on. The kids then get a soft ball and a box can be painted as the dry land – the then try and catapult the ball from the whale’s stomach to the dry land.
For he is the living God
and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
his dominion will never end.
He rescues and he saves;
he performs signs and wonders
in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
from the power of the lions.
– Daniel 6:27
